INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior design has always been a passion of mine. Whether I’m helping friends decorate their rooms or starting fresh with a new style after moving to LA, I love creating an aesthetically pleasing environment. Eager to learn more about the life of an interior designer, I reached out to Adrienne Clark, the in-house stylist for Anthropologie in Dallas, and asked if I could shadow her. She was incredibly helpful and taught me how to create a mood board, how to blend fashion with function, and the importance of client relations. These skills proved valuable during my time at Copeland Construction & Design. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, although it was cut short when the owner, April, decided to dissolve her business to focus on motherhood. Our most exciting project involved redecorating a living room and a sitting room in just 10 days. The pace of meetings, mood boards, and installations made this one of my favorite projects!
This is my personal ideal style! Traditional with inviting textures and soothing neutral colors. My dream home is anything you've seen in a Nancy Meyers movie.
This is from one of my favorite projects! I was invited to interview for an internship with Anthropologie, to stand out I created a few rooms using exclusively furniture pieces from their Antho Living brand
My first official role in the world of interior design was working for Copeland Construction & Design as an executive assistant. The owner, April, and I flipped a house in in just 10 days, including meetings with clients, designing & installing all pieces.
It is imperative to listen to the clients needs. Our client on this home has two young kids so we made sure to find a washable couch and chair.
When possible, I love to find thrifted pieces, whether it's for myself or clients, to bring unique character to their homes. This mirror was a special find.
