FASHION & STYLING
I have many passions in life, and fashion is one of them! After completing my summer fashion marketing internship in Milan, Italy, I have never felt more inspired and full of creative ideas. Under the guidance of my mentors, Anja Tufina and Stela Plaka, I gained valuable insights into the world of fashion marketing and styling. During my time abroad, I had the opportunity to travel and experience the styles of Paris, Nice, Como, Florence, and Santorini. There is so much beauty in this world that I want to bring back to the United States. As you scroll through, I am excited to share some of the editorial European style I contributed to.
While working on editorial photoshoots for Stela Plaka, I witnessed creativity flourish. Whether it was mixing patterns or fabrics, fashion truly knows no bounds. My responsibilities included tracking the locations and conditions of garments from showrooms, as well as organizing ensembles for the models before the photoshoots. Additionally, I assisted with lighting, posed models, and provided input on outfits, which were later published in L’OFFICIEL Lithuania and Brazil, as well as ELLE Bulgaria.

One project I am particularly proud of is my work on the brand launch for Bannu during my internship at Fashion Start Up by Anja Tufina in Milan, Italy. This experience gave me hands-on exposure to fashion marketing. Anja was an excellent mentor who valued my input. For instance, when selecting merchandise, I suggested we opt out of picking a few pairs of drip-style earrings that had been popular the previous summer, making them out of style. Ultimately, we decided to go with some timeless looks instead. The concept for Bannu focuses on sleek jewelry with a fresh and natural glow, targeting young adult women. One memorable day, while shooting the jewelry for stock images, Anja encouraged me to model some pieces, despite my lack of experience in front of the camera. I embraced the opportunity and did my best to contribute to the brand's success.

A few years ago, I was selected to interview for an internship position with Anthropologie in Philadelphia. As part of the application process, I was tasked with creating a vision for fall 2023. Traditionally, fall is associated with browns, reds, and muted warm tones, but I wanted to incorporate leathers in shades of blue and green to add a refreshing twist. Drawing inspiration from trendsetters I found on social media. Additionally, I provided a list of influencers who would make excellent ambassadors for the brand.

Some of the clothes in the editorials Stela and I shot were from KJ Rily. KJ Rily is one of the brands Anja helped launch through her company, Fashion Startup. To showcase the unique styles and creative direction of KJ Rily, I took the initiative to craft a detailed lookbook. This lookbook captures the essence of the brand, highlighting its standout pieces and the cohesive aesthetic we aimed to achieve in our editorials. Below, you will find some of the spreads from the lookbook, which illustrate not only the clothing but also the artistic vision behind the brand.
